  1. If he didn't marry you, I would have!
  2. I heard that!
  3. This needs to be in my purely-theoretical Canon Rock Obsession 10Y+ update, "dedicated to the Human spirit of innovation". Your implant and Space X landing a rocket stage are easily on the same level.
  4. wait if she hasnt heard any thing before how does she know what people are saying
  5. Awww. Good for you!
  6. Congratulation (well it's been 5 years now but still...), bet you're enjoying every sound :D

    I've some questions for you.

1 - I suppose that at first, you weren't abble to understand the sound people spoke to you and still rely on lips reading, how long did it take to you to incorporate the phonic composant?

2 - what was the first music you heard and what was your reaction to it?

3 - how good is your hearing now? (according to test)

    ps: sorry for bad english

EDIT: just saw that you wrote a book, gonna take a look on it :D
  7. How does she say if she does not know the pronunciation of sounds since birth?
  8. Such a beautiful and touching video
  9. @ 0:53 when she was covering her eyes and the doctor said "can you hear me?" how did she know what those words sounded like and actually meant? i thought she'd only know words by reading lips.. not trying to be mean just legit curious
  10. 3k dislikes!!! wtf
  11. She's coming to my school tomorrow
  12. f u 3k people who dislike this
  13. well, i dont care if this video was real or fake, because this video make me appreciate what i have now.
  14. this touches my heart. Alhamdulillah
  15. Dream come true
  16. So beautiful
  17. I don't understand how she speaks so well? She'd have to have some idea of how her voice sounds to speak well, to pronounce syllables correctly.. So this is more accurately "first time hearing self CLEARLY". Also, for someone whose been deaf since 8 weeks old, she isn't reflexively signing her words as she speaks them. Every other "deaf person hears for the first time" video I've watched, ALL of them signed as they were trying to speak. Just my thought.
  18. How can she talk ?
  19. I don't want to sound ignorant, but can someone please explain to me how she was able to tell that the device was beeping if she had never heard a beep in her entire life?
