  5. I will never buy an Asus laptop again.  My HDD corrupted and when I had the drive replaced I realized it did not come with restore disks.  I contacted ASUS and they wanted 50 bucks for a replacement.

  16. I went into BIOS, into Boot, enabled reboot from disk, and FINALLY got to the desktop. But now it is stuck in a restart loop. It shuts down, starts up, gets to the desktop, factory installs, configures the system, shuts down, does everything all over again. Five times so far. Geez, I hope it stops pretty soon. I've been trying to get it running for an entire week!
