To recover photos from digital cameras, memory cards or any USB storage device, first you need to connect them with the computer. So, let's see how to restore lost or deleted photos in 4 quick and easy steps. In the 1st step of photo recovery, Launch the Yodot Photo Recovery software on your computer. Here you can see two options "Deleted Photo Recovery" & "Lost Photo Recovery". Select the 1st option - "Deleted Photo Recovery" in order to recover deleted photos. In case you are looking to get back lost photos, choose the other option - "Lost Photo Recovery". After a quick scan, performed by the software, all drives will be displayed. In the 2nd step of recovery, Click on the particular drive from which you have lost photos and go to Next. On the right side of the window, select the file types of lost photos. Click on Picture or Digital RAW Picture option and select the extensions of lost photos. If you are not aware of the file extensions, go for Mark All option. In 3rd step of picture restoration process, the drive will be scanned by the software. Application might take several minutes to complete the scan. As the drive scan gets completed, a list of all the restored photos will be displayed in "Data View" or "File Type View" modes. That's it. Select the photos you want to recover and click Next. To save the recovery session for future purpose, select the button "Yes" and save the session. And now the final step of recovery process - Saving the restored images. Browse the output folder to save recovered photos. Software will give you a warning message if you choose the same location from which files were lost. Upon clicking Next button, software executes the saving process and directly takes you to the output folder...!!!! So these are the simple steps of lost image recovery using Yodot Photo Recovery application.
