Lisa Gade reviews the Acer Aspire Switch 10, a $379 full Windows 8.1 10.1" convertible/hybrid/transformer laptop and tablet in one. The Switch 10 has a 2 piece design where the tablet separates from the keyboard dock, much like the Asus Transformer T100. The Switch 10 also does the "Yoga" thing, and you can put the tablet in the keyboard facing backwards for tent and presentation modes. This is nice look hybrid for the price and it has a 1366 x 768 IPS display, front facing stereo speakers, Bay Trail Intel quad core Atom, 2 gigs of RAM and 32 or 64 gigs of internal flash storage. It has HDMI, microUSB, full size USB and a micro SD card slot.   2. Just a heads up, the wifi card on this thing is abysmal! It doesn't seem to support 5ghz signals and it's range is god awful, can't even get good signal 5 meters away from my access point.

  5. can any one saying please how to screen lock with one touch the option, i have this Acer Aspire Switch 10 but i can not lock the screen there is no switch for lock....there is only i found switch off..but no normal lock,,,
  6. This is the biggest crap that you can buy. I was fooled by the reviews and bought this. It has been to service more than 3 times and they still couldn't fix it. It doesn't recognize the built in hard drive. The battery is crap and lasts not more than 3 hours. It takes ages to charge and it doesn't charge when in use and plugged in. The chargetr is a cheap chinese one and all ready broke. It is also not possible to charge via usbyand when you have an external drive connected it drains the battery quickly. I had the laptop for only 9 months and I threw it away because no one would buy it. Thank God it only costed 400 euros so I was better off throwing the money away. Now I have to buy a new computer. Never again Acer it's a shit company and quality. Please do not make the same mistake and buy this crap.
