  9. this kind of stuff you should be able to do your self.
you make sure you know how your raid is set up and the cluster sizes and all the controllers + the order of the drives..
If you have a hardware failure then like you just did, you can replace the hardware and Even if you need to you can re build the array "EXACTLY like it was" then there are a whole host of 3rd party apps you can use to recover the data in place..

but you HAVE to know how your raid was built and have every single setting the same. if the drives are in the wrong order or you didnt match the setting 100% the same as origional. after you rebuild then the data will show up corrupted to the recovery software. And you would want a different drive "one that has nothing at all to do with the array to send the recovered data too" (You do not want to recover the data directly back to the array you are recovering from)

This is the kind of stuff that annoys me about you.
You should know stuff like this given that you try and tell people what they need to know. But you just dont have a clue about a single thing you are doing. its infuriating to people like me.

Honestly. No off site back up?.. (or atleast a Off system backup point)
Thats bearly acceptable for a small home server system that only hosts a few games and a mysql page for data on game stats..
at this sort of level you Need to have a back up.
  10. 😂😂😂😡
