  1. YO YO YO IS THAT MA BOI WOOLIE 5:18
  2. you should make a video why a non changing meta (like melee or earlier stretch fighters) makes for a meta where players can ONLY adapt and progress the meta
  3. Personally, I think weaker characters should just be buffed. certain nerfs are necessary like Bayonetta in smash 4, but overall, characters should just be buffed and players should just adapt to avoid the "broken moves"
  4. They nerfd sean in street fighter 3 3rd strike that was a bummer 😕
  5. ban wobbling
  6. Wew, watching all these vids as a playlist. I love your insights!
  7. I agree with this philosophy. I've seen nerfs handled like you explained, and it was much more interesting seeing changes that brought variety than to see options removed altogether.
  8. you gave me a headache. and not in a good way
  9. the quarter arguement study is dumb. people said 20 dollars because at 10 youd its 50 50 odds why not just not play the game. anything less than 20 and your basically wasting your time?? i swear to god scientists need to go outside once in awhile to gain some common sense :v they only include variables that they just randomly pick.

"this week scientists say people have a natural affinity to green. we know this because all humans in the study stopped to pick up 20 dollars off the ground that was colored green" 🤐
  10. I can't say much for fighting games, but i do play mobas. Balancing should be method of helping the character play styles shine over cheap gameplay mechanics. I honestly stopped playing MVC3 because of all the spamming, and infinite moves and combos. This tends to be one of the biggest issue i face in side-scroll type fighters. 3D is easier (for me) because move depend more on timing, and understanding the fighters play styles. When playing something like KI (one of the few i enjoy even when losing), i can clearly see how fighters play styles and kit makes the good in some aspects, but weak in others. In like MVC3 i get spammed and never understand if that is players style, and struggle to counter it.

I don't mind nerf, unless make the character harder to play with no way to compensate for it. If you nerf the shield, give a little life. If you nerf the power, give a little attack speed.
  11. what is that anime looking game at the beginning
  12. As long as meta exist there is no balance.
  13. hey...i want to buy arcade stick for pc...which should i buy.
  14. Tell this to the league of legends community
  15. Give Zangief his GREEN HAND
  16. You see, this is why I don't like what CAPCOM is doing with Street Fighter V. They removed a lot of things that got audiences watching Ultra Street Fighter IV, like long combos, a high skill cap, and an actually decent character roster(Sagat is the only character from SF2's original cast that still isn't in SFV)
  17. This buff and nerf philosophy is universal. Good work. Send to hi-rez studios.
  18. That Sigma Palace Stage 1 theme though
  19. If a character ends up like Melee Fox, Brawl Meta Knight or Smash 4 bayonetta, nerf but keep it reasonable. If a character ends up like Melee kirby, brawl ganon or smash 4 puff, reasonable buffs should be put in place
  20. "Buff all" usually costs more than "nerf one", Creating new exciting attacks that are different requires time and good developers.

The reason we all hate Nerfs is because it's the cheap solution. Like removing a feature from a game because it does not work, instead of fixing it.

We all want things that add to what we love, not things that take away.
