    Guys who miss the idea after 1:00, you can do the next: type cd with a space after it and then drag and drop the downloaded folder with sdk tools to the terminal window. Click Enter. The folder (first word in the line) should change.

    After that type "cd tools", enter. And after that: "./android sdk" and hit enter again.

  9. Unfortunately no help ! Guess it's too old for El Capitan (impossible to write what you say in Terminal).

  11. the real command to get to the file at desktop should be "cd desktop/android-sdk-macosx"

    cd means change directory, and the other part is telling it that the file is at desktop and it's the folder android-sdk-macosx

  12. I still don't get how to install the adb! It's so confusing!
  13. all I'm getting is no such directory in the terminal command
  14. If you are trying to root an LG Optimus G Pro E980 running 4.4.2 from a Mac , the only rooting tool that will work is rootool.kitkat.zip. Had to load the root.zip from that file into the platform-tools and sideload it into the E980. Once loaded and the phone was rooted, got the Clockworkmod app loaded as well as Super SU. The E980 is very difficult to unlock the bootloader and the terminal commands on vid #4 will not work. As well, the key commands only worked once I got into recovery mode ( ./adb reboot revovery ) and had to go to the "apply update from ADB". I was then able to sideload the root.zip into the phone. Now to get my MMS working right.
  15. helow,i downloaded everything the android studio and checked the platform tools however when i get the android sdk folder thers only tools folder,platform folder and two other folders thers no platform-tool folder i have redownloaded like 3times what do i do? or is it just fine coz its a new updated android studio? because i use an S5 and i forgotten my alternate password and my wifi is off so this is the only way i can bypass the password ive been doing ur steps all night and no success please please help! thanks
  16. You really need to work on your articulation and instructions on crucial parts like EXACTLY what to type when your viewers open the command prompt window... Seemed like you knew what you were doing; but no one is going to follow your directions if you don't take your time to explain smoothly...

    REMEMBER: Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast = A GOOD TEACHER
