AOMEI OneKey Recovery is a free and easy-use software designed to back up and restore your system, which supports all Windows PC operating systems, including Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP. You can use it to restore the system partition to its original status in case of a system failure. You can also create a system state backup for easy restoration as required. The interface of AOMEI OneKey Recovery is very simple, just reflecting that it is easy to use.

  1. What version were you using? Because it does not give you the visual that you see at 2:27
  2. If I back up 'now' am I backing up a corrupt file
  3. Thanks, John.  Sorry to be dense, but I don't really understand the different kinds of back-ups (vs cloning or actual copies), so here's what I don't get: People talk about this program backing-up the "system," and some say it backs up "everything", but....Does the backup include all programs that you installed from disks or downloads -- and also all of your data -- right up to the time you made the image?  Or does it just back up the operating system plus updates, settings and drivers?

My C drive had about 66 GB used, and I used this prog to create a backup to an external hard drive. AOMEI estimated that the back-up would be 58 GB, but it's only about 36 GB -- 131 files without a normal extension, that I can't really look at..  So what have I got there?  If my system gets really hosed someday, and I use this program to restore to that backup, what will I have?
  4. AOMEI One Key will replace the current backup copy each time you make a backup automatically. But you can also make a backup to another location.

  5. Does AOMEI One Key  replace the current backup copy each time you make a backup? Or will I have a 100 backups taking up disk space?  Would be nice to know the above answer?  Looking for your answer!  From: Moose
