Added a download link for full windows 7 re install disc for all those having problems not restoring from image. I understand the ranting because I also have a Dell that went down and they wanted to charge me 150 dollars to go step by step to troubleshoot the issue.   4. So many crooked shops. Ya run smartctl -= bad hard drive - so lets try a repair first cuz lets face it we charge by the hour. Have quit so many job over the years because of horrible ethics from the shops. Great little video, Dude ... quit the job and start your own. Then you can fix stuff the way you KNOW it should be done ... right the first time. Anyway thanks good video. Links to CD downloads still work 2016 !

  10. I have a different version of the asus but this still seems to be working awesome for me so far, took aboit 2 minutes lol! Will come back with an update when the reset is complete!

  17. I have an asus laptop and I have so many problems with it. I would never recommend to anyone to buy one of these laptops. Wifi adapter always switches off for no reason. Usb ports are slow. HDMI port only works for some TVs. Charger port broke. Problems writing file to and from memory sticks. I had to replace the hinges for the screen on both side at different times. The mouse pad only works sometimes. It doesn't shut correctly for example it could take like four or five hours to turn off. I hope this restore could speed up the laptop some bit. I will never buy an asus device ever again
