  1. I want to convert to SSHD so the boot  time goes faster. Can I transfer the stock Asus drive to a replacement SSHD and will the F9 factory reset key still work?
  2. im pressing the f9 key when the logo shows but it keeps taking me back to launch start up repair and start windows normally
  3. I was given an Asus laptop that had no hard drive. I bought a 320GB "reconditioned" (wiped?) hard drive which turned out to be a Western Digital (oh dear, these have extra layers of security which to me are just a PITA) I can guarantee that there won't be any Asus recovery software on the WD drive so it looks as if job #1 is formatting the drive. FORMAT C:/S was how it was done in the good old days. In theory Windows can be downloaded by using the machines licence label that is underneath but it will be like pulling oneself up by ones boot laces.

  13. Will this help if i am missing some drivers? I want to put my laptop. Back to Windows 7 but the thing is that when I did that most of the drivers from the computer are not working properly or are not installed. So maybe setting my computer to factory settings will those drivers automatically Get installed again?
