I have done this fix now 3 different times and have been successful. I will save all the discussion about how I came across it and just tell you how to fix it. This is the instructions after you click "Reset Phone" in the software and you are stuck at the cog wheels for hours or after force rebooting with (Volume Down and Power) you get the NOKIA logo. Under files window make sure all the files are selected. 6. Click the Download Button 7. Wait for ALL the files to completely download, the FFU file will be 1.02GB in size. 8. When complete, browse to: C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages 9. Create a folder called Products 10. Create a folder called rm-820 11. You should now have a directory like: C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\rm-820\ 12. Browse to the NaviFirmPlus folder you extracted 13. Open the FW folder and then the folder of the firmware you downloaded. 14. Copy the entire folder contents and paste it into the C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\rm-820\ directory. Nokia_Care_Suite_5.0_2012.45.4.5 Directions: 1. Launch Nokia Care Suite 2. Click the Product Support Tool for Store 5.0 3. Click File 4. Click Open Product 5. Choose RM-820 (Nokia Lumia 920) 6. On the bottom left click Programming 7. Click Recovery 8. You should see the firmware you downloaded and copied earlier under the Properties field. 9. Click Start 10. The software will check the package contents, it will fail to find the phone, and ask you to reboot and give you a button to click retry. Phone Directions: 1. Plug the phone into your PC 2. Hold the Volume Down and the Power button, click RETRY on the Product Support Tools Window 3. After you feel a vibration in the phone immediately release the Volume Down and the Power button and hold the Volume up button. 4. Continue to hold the volume up button, you will see the software say "Rebooting" 5. After about 15 seconds you will see a top NOKIA logo and the software will start flashing the phone. *WARNING I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU RUIN YOUR PHONE!*

    Regards
  5. Hi,
Thanks for the video. I know the video is old, but it is still useful. I did the same think on my Lumia 900. It does the flashing, but there is no rebooting process barre. Maybe I was doing something wrong, I don't know.
  6. what if my lumia 920 isn't AT&T? it won't help? please answer

  9. Guys I wrote this like forever ago, if it navifirm doesn't work or the downloads dont work, please find the sources for these elsewhere. I have moved on from the 920. I leave this up for historic purposes.
  10. cant download files on NaviFirmPlus
  11. Dude Thank's It Worked me perfectly !!!!!!!!
  12. Plz i made a mistake by resetting my Nokia Lumina 920 when it was still connected to my computer and now it will not stop boothing. What do i do?=
  13. Thanks dude. This seems like a nice solution for most of those bricked Lumias 920 out there but I think my problem is of a different nature. I cannot go past step 3 in your Phone Directions section. After I get the single vibration,I get the white NOKIA logo followed by the following "error: Unable to find a bootable option. Press any key to shut down." No cogwheels or exclamation marks. Just the NOKIA logo and the error message on a loop. I'm kinda running out of ideas here...
  14. after I do the voldown + power and then the volume up I just get the cogwheel no matter how I try after that..am I doing it wrong or my phone is total rip?
  15. Thank you. Reading how to reboot into flashing mode isn't helpful at all... But, you explained it very well! thank you
  16. So glad i vistied nokiageeks.us and got my Lumia unlocked.
  17. Thanks man, after I reverse engineered the navifirm+ 2.5 it worked like a charm thanks man.
  18. Thanks for the tutorial. It fixes my problem. I found navifirm+ 2.4 and product-code-of-nokia-lumia-920 from google. Downloaded the firmware and then used Product support tool to flash the phone. I don't have to hold UP button though. After reboot the screen showed red background with the white nokia logo on it. After 10-15 seconds a progress bar showed up. Had FA_ERR_ERASE_FAIL: 0xFA000005 during the first try. When I tried again, it worked. All good.
  19. Yes, you can... I've been running rm-821 on my rogers phone for the last two months! ;)
  20. For people trying to get the timing down. I have a Rogers 920 and tried for 45 minutes to get the timing down, this is what I did and it worked the first time. When you open Care Suite, open Fuse too. When you do the Vol down + Power combo, Fuse will tell you when your phone is in flash mode. As soon is you see flash mode pop up, hit "Retry" on the Support Tool.
