  1. It wouldn't hurt to try, but most likely especially considering that it was a system restore that data is gone. Please look further into this though and learn more about it so you can avoid this kind of thing. Back up your data often, and create new restore points more often as long as everything is working fine. Good Luck and I hope this helps :)
  2. With system restores it is tricky. the thing is a system restore is suppose to restore the PC back to the exact state it was at the time restore point was made. Most likely those files would be permanently deleted. Also the trick with programs like Recuva is when a file is deleted it is stored temporary for some time and then in time it is rewritten over with new data that the computer is using. So when you delete a file it is never really gone, but it is rewritten over with new data.
  3. hi I had my blackberry back up on my new windows 8 hp pavilion g6, then had a problem with my laptop so done a system restore and YES i lost my blackberry back up file :( can i now get this back up using recuva ?plz help me out if you know how to do this
