  3. That was quite a helpful video. I still have a few doubts though.
    -Does the time machine app backup even the OS of the Mac each time we do this?
    -I am using a 128GB flash drive on my Mac HD but I am backing up to a 64GB SD card. The time machine app still backs-up stuff to the SD card though.

  5. if you have a brand new external drive it is highly recommended to take the time/extra step and write zero's to the new drive. this will prevent issues later on down the line with the drive becoming corrupted. and also encrypt the drive obviously

  8. hey i would like some help, im pressing the ON on the time machine but there is no disks to choose from, it keeps searching for some Airport Base Station ..

  10. I upgraded to El capitan... now I only can read my Seagate Hardrive can't save anything. Do I have to this process?
