  1. yeah crashplan can do it. it's in the main settings. not sure what it's called.
  2. Thx for video! I got crash plan but need to backup from an external drive.do you know how todo that?
  3. i dont have a mac ,cant render in quicktime and i allways edit my clips ..
  4. yeah it's on in the background, and whenever it's able to back up your files then it does. :)
  5. So you're saying, whenever it detects the external drive (if you're using one to back up) and when you have internet connection, it starts to back it up?
  6. if you edit the videos, export to h.264 quicktime. If you don't edit them, dont render, just upload to youtube. Try to keep it the same size as the original files, so something like 5 magabyte per second is more than enough. Dont confuse megaBYTE (MB/s) with megaBIT (Mb/s). They're two different measurements - 1MB = 8Mb.
  7. one more question on my friend in london ;) my EOS 700 makes MOV Files ,what the best way to render and transform it ,for youtube upload , MPEG4 or quicktime or what else ? there is a loss of quality on youtube when i uploaded it in MPEG 4 16MB/sek
  8. it's all automatic. Once you install it and select the files you can pretty much forget it's there.
  9. Hey man, awesome video! I was wondering, do you have to leave your laptop on for the whole process? Is there a pause feature on it? I couldn't imagine waiting a month without turning my laptop off or being able to move it with me. Haha!
  10. yes definitely better quality. watch some videos on youtube, there are lots that explain how to shoot video with canon DSLRs (all canon DSLRs have almost the same controls so any tutorial will help you)
  11. thanks ! allmost all videos on my youtubel chanell are recordet with a little videocam ,sony hdr cx 160 e. somebody persuiatet me to buy a dlsr for a much better quality. and with the eos700 now ,i have no idea to handle this cam .. do you think it will bring a better quality ? watch my video on my frontpage ,,in the forest ,its recordet with sony handycam
  12. none at all for me
  13. Thanks. Is there no bandwidth limit? I have a limit of 175gb up and down per month.
  14. Was trying this on other Facebook. Done and dusted now. Nice shot.
  15. you dont have to 'use' it, just click the link in the description and view the photo in my albums. :)
  16. I'm with BT, i get about 4.1mbps up speed to CrashPlan, and my actual speed is around 75 mbit down and 15mbit up, sometimes a bit lower. (BT promise 80 and 20, but whatever) Costs around £45 with the line rental.
  17. What kind of internet plan do you have that allows so much upload (500gb in a week) and what is the cost? Thanks
  18. pity. don't use Facebook myself. thanks anyway.
