I was able to recover my blackberry bold 9700.For anyone looking for help with AT&T blackberry bold 9700 the following information may help youYou need the Blackberry Desktop software installed on your computer. To install this please google "blackberry desktop software" without quotes, download and install it if you have not done already. In addition to that you need to download ROM for your device from AT&T. You can download this by going to http://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do. This will prompt for name, title, company, address, email, etc... Register and download the latest ROM available. I downloaded 9700M_PBr6.0.0_rel2949_PL6.6.0.236_A6.0.0.668_AT_T.exe. you have to install this on top of blackberry desktop software. This will prompt for your computer to be rebooted. Reboot the computer and follow the instructions on Alexandru's video. It worked like a charm.

  11. sir, i have to say thank first for your video.

    i have already followed your way until 5:26 but there is a difference between me and yours.
    im using bb onyx 2 / 9780 and the difference is on 5:26 sir, my phone keeps loading the green bar when i dont put the battery on, meanwhile your loading bar was stop when you do not put the battery. therefore, the result is nothing. my phone is still stuck on my home screen , when i press something on my keyboard it doesnt give any movement or signals ( LAGGING ) but if i press Alt or Aa ( shift ) it gives notification on the corner like usual that shows to you if youre on Capslock mode or Alt or Numerical Mode.

    hope you could help me to solve this problem.

  12. my blackberry z10 red light blinks when power on or connected to the PC. Only black screen. Also it does not connect to the blackberry link and shows no device connected. Please help...

    after pressing reload button it says press and hold the power button for 10 seconds untill your device turns off. i did this step but it again switch on and red light appears. nothing more it does every time i do this. Is there any hardware problem or any startup chip damaged??. Please help.

    went to bed last night and put my phone on charge as normal, woke up this morning and it was turned off and will now not turn on. I thought it was the battery but after putting my battery in my friends phone and it working I realized it cannot be the battery...I also tried his fully charged battery in my phone to no avail.
