  11. This was exactly what I needed. I was using a WNR2000v1, and so I chose the correct support page from Netgear (http://downloadcenter.netgear.com/en/product/WNR2000v1). When I uploaded the latest firmware, it wouldn't work. So I tried the OLDEST firmware, and that worked. I got the router at a yard sale, so they probably tried installing the latest firmware too, which is why they sold it for $1! Thanks a lot!

  15. Hi, Richard.. My netgear dg834gt is now flashing the power and test lights and I can't log into it so I could reset or something...Hard reset is also not working..Problem occured after a power cut.
    Can you please help me out??

  18. +Richard Loyd I have the Netgear WNR2000v4, but was having these exact symptoms. I followed the video and was able to upgrade the firmware. After this, the green power lamp continued to blink green and never changed to amber. The number on the port where the cable was plugged remained solid green (no flashing). The network icon never switched either. Do you have any clues about this?
