Cannot see thumbnail Pics in Windows 7 or 8

Windows 7 has thumbnails turned off by default, so you have to open a picture to view it. That isn't really helpful. Here is the cure.

I had the same problem and I am again but the box is checked, last time a RAM upgrade automatically fixed it for me so that may be a reason some are unable to see thumbs, I can see thumbs of low res images and video files but my GoPro 4 2.7K files have no thumbs, so keep in mind it may be system limitations in some cases.

Hey, Sorry to say this but this isn't helpful as the option which say "Show only thumbnails instead of Icons" is already marked. Can you please help me with another solution.?

hi dis post was smthng I needed but it din solve my problem..i hv connected my oppo smart phone via USB to my laptop n want to copy only selected images but the problem persist of opening an image one by one...
