Cannot see thumbnail Pics in Windows 7 or 8

Windows 7 has thumbnails turned off by default, so you have to open a picture to view it. That isn't really helpful. Here is the cure.

I had the same problem and I am again but the box is checked, last time a RAM upgrade automatically fixed it for me so that may be a reason some are unable to see thumbs, I can see thumbs of low res images and video files but my GoPro 4 2.7K files have no thumbs, so keep in mind it may be system limitations in some cases.

  20. hi dis post was smthng I needed but it din solve my problem..i hv connected my oppo smart phone via USB to my laptop n want to copy only selected images but the problem persist of opening an image one by one...
