CD/DVD can't read

How to overcome the issue of CD/DVD ROM not being able to read the cd/dvd. A simple step involving the registry editor. no Fuss and very quick, just restart after doing it. Press "windows + R" keys on the keyboard, you will see a "Run" dialogue box appear type "Regedit" and press "Enter". Just as a notice and a disclaimer this method has worked for XP and Vista, which are both obsolete. As for the latest windows 10, I am sorry I can't help with that. You would need some other video. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - System - CurrentControlSet - Control - Class - 4D36E965-E325. Remember this method is not for faulty hardware. Only for software issues. If you have a faulty optical drive, you will have to repair it or get a new piece. WARNING: This method is limited to windows Vista and Windows XP ONLY

  17. There is no low filter on mine and my won't read factory dvds at all. Even uninstalling or disabling the drive doesn't do a dam thing. I am getting sick of this crap.
