A Clean Reinstallation of Windows 10 using a Recovery Drive. Testing using Recovery Drive created in another computer with a SSD upgrade and a Local Account.

  1. My restore flash drive is not working. I selected it in the bio's menu and the dell logo pops up and stays like that for about 5 minutes then goes back to the blue recovery page and I get an 0xc 0000098 error code now.........sucks. Any idea's ?

  3. I didn't see recover from a drive, all mine said was system image recovery, system restore and start up repair and so on, but I definitely didn't see recover from disk? I've tried everything and nothing seem to work in the advanced options.

  13. I got a dell cd thats recovery but when i put it in my pc the only options i get is reset this pc,recover from a drive and advanced options wheres the option to install windows 10?

  15. So I assume you made your recovery drive using windows i.e.via the control panel?
