  14. ok so i tried like 100 different things to get windows 7 updates to work and nothing then i found out the easiest way if you have a illegal copy of windows :) go into your uninstall programs look for the menu turn windows features on or off... once you have gone in you will see a list of features you can turn on or off... look through carefully and in the sub menus till you see WINDOWS NT FRAMEWORK (MAKE SURE THAT AND THE SUB MENU IS ALL CHECKED OFF) THIS INCLUDES WINDOWS COMMUNICATION FOUNDATION.... restart your pc and go to your updates and click update then in 5 -20 minutes you will have your updates... enjoy
  15. MANNNN, U ARE GREAT ITS WORKING !!!
  16. I get this errorCode 0x800703f1 for all my updates
  17. The Microsoft 'Fix it' program has been the only thing to give 'results' so far. In the sense that it called my error "0x80070057", unfortunately it couldn't fix it and the error isn't listed on Microsoft's website! I'll try some of your suggestions (I've been through many so far..), but if you know more about this error i'd love some help :) (Also having a 'Bluescreen' error; "BugCode_USB_Driver" that I've been unsuccessful in fixing too..), cheers.
  18. I'm kind of frustrated because after I deleted the items from the first part, restarted and used fixWU, I'm still getting errors and I really need to update, because I can't use some programs.
  19. Im running vista. How can I get to the troubleshoot menu? I type T, then I type troubleshooting and nothing came up. Does Vista even have this option?
