  1. You aren't supposed to clean an optical disc using a circular motion.
  2. The abrasive solution will wear away the 'plastic' coating surrounding the scratch. Light scratches should be removed and deeper scratches should have less refraction problems. Thats the theory. He shows you the 'before' CD with scratches but I notice he doesn't show you the CD 'after' cleaning.
