Create Bootable Recovery Partition in Windows 7 In this tutorial we will create a recovery partition, so your going to need EasyBCD and a Windows 7 CD. Your need to Create a 4 GB partition and make that make the partition bootable with EasyBCD.   3. this seems great i will try to do it tomorrow, with my hdd pluged on another computer because it will not boot up from the windows cd ! then i will unplug the hard drive which i don't need to reinstall windows on and see if that works once my hard drive is ready. then i will use it to my original computer

  16. How about placing the Macrium Recovery Boot media? Is it the same such that you go to \sources\boot.wim? I see it but before I start tinkering with the idea, I'd like to know if anyone actually has done this? I can't imagine using a W7 installation disk for a recovery solution as just the Updates for W7 alone can take up to a day? I'd rather boot to the Macrium Recovery and restore an image.
