  7. please help !!! i left one day my PC on and left to work and unfortunately i had my 2 TB external hard drive connected . when i came home i found cryptolocker and immediately i remove the external drive and remove the virus, but i have shit loads of encrypted files on this external drive. i the meant time i change the internal hard drive of my PC and i have a new windows working perfectly but i still can't decrypt my files :( . as soon as i saw the virus i check YouTube on how to solve my problem but at the time was no solution for it . now i can see that great minds managed to solve the problem but i can't and i don't know how to decrypt my files from my external hard drive ! please help me

Maybe you could create other videos with labels like "How did I get the cryptolocker virus" and "Boring information about the government and cryptolocker" and "Some other information about cryptolocker".... this video is a waste of time... thanks for nothing

I didn't mean to post that I  wasn't finished yet.  After running my maleware bytes pro anti maleware software, it removed cryptolocker from my machine.  However, all my files are still encrypted, and also thousands and thousands of files that are not personal say HELP RESTORE  do you know anything about this?

I got the cryptolocker virus buy using a jpeg repair program, and I had anti malware protection.  It just I had some jpeg images that were messed up.  I downloaded this program, sorry i can't remember the name,  My anti maleware warned me it was suspicious, and I wasn't paying attention and I said ignore it.  Big Big mistake, it identified itself as cryptolocker, had the exact same ranson screen that I have seen on youtube.  I found the fire eye site, and sent them a encrypted file, and it says the file is not encrypted with cryptolocker.  So that was no help at all.  Now I don't know what to do. if you find out anything other then fire eye, please email me at taftdavidhaynes@hotmail.com I have also called fire eye, and they don't return my calls, or emails.
  18. First of all you got to be out of you're mind to pay any money to these crooks exstorshenist to get files back...hopefully they find these guys & execute them in a public hanging make them beg for their lives for what they have done then off with their heads!!....
  19. Too bad this site/tool no longer exists, my girlfriend got this virus and something tells me the tool would have helped me fix it for her.
  20. Does not work fireeye/fox it...tried several encrypted files from the virus CTB & keeps coming back to say...file seems not to be infected by CTB...so just to let everyone know when you thought you had a chance with this service that is free has failed to perform....
