1. Back in 2010 I purchased an iMac with Leopard, then updated to Lion.
   All the time I did Time Machine back-ups on a daily basis.
   Then my HD crashed, I purchased a new one set-up by The Apple Store with the initial 10.6 Leopard.
   As soon as I started working again Time Machine started a new FULL back-up. I haven't been aware of this for about 15 minutes; - then I stopped the back-up.
   Tried to recover the backed-up data (of the 10.8 Lion installation) in every thinkable way but to no NO avail.
   Purchased Data Rescue 3.2.2 and tried quite everything but nothing really worked...
   Don't know whether to blame Time Machine or Data Rescue or myself....^_^
