This video tutorial will show you how to delete an undeletable file from your computer. IF ACCESS DENIED Right click on CMD and Run as Administrator IF DELETING A *FILE* INSTEAD OF A *FOLDER* USE "ERASE" INSTEAD OF "RMDIR" ANOTHER METHOD TO TRY: kradfreezer23: hey thanks man! but instead of rmdir /q /s (FILE) I did - del (FILE) (thanks to Benjamin Lafreniere) IF YOU CANT FIND THE FOLDER SHORTNAME Note from comments: "BlackFlameBoss: Nevermind found it! You can also just do rmdir /q /s folder name :)"

  6. OK so "erase /q /s FILENAME" totally worked for deleting files. However, I am wondering why there are still some sketchy-looking files showing under dir /x. There is nothing left on my desktop, but still a list of .TOR and .CRD files showing in the directory. I want to know why these files aren't actually showing on the desktop when they are listed under dir /x?? BTW, I am able to delete them, but still want to knowwwww.
