In Windows 8.1 sometimes it happens that when you try to move or delete a folder windows denied it. No matter how you do this, the folder becomes undeletable. If you think that the folder's security settings might be changed, then even window is unable to show security setting information.   3. Unfortunately, this didn't work. The folder I was trying to delete that had this precise problem was showing as " unlocked" but it kept failing to delete and wouldn't let me rename it either". I'm not thumbs downing as this program worked in the past. Unsure what to think.

  7. Try This Method i just learned that is a lifesaver .....

    👉 Note: You have to have "Winrar" in order to do this.

    #1). Right click on the undeleted folder.

    #2). Archive the undeleted folder "as if you're going to zip/rar the undeleted folder as a rar file.

    #3). In Archiving Options > Check the box for "Delete files after Archiving" Winrar will delete this folder itself from Archiving.

    This will delete the undelete folder for good. You're going to thank ne for this!
