  1. Hello Heater, thanks for the video. I just have a small question, when I restore a VM into a different Host I get no network access.It says Unidentified network. I've checked the IPV4 configuration and it has the correct settings (Static IP, DNS and all of that). Is there a way to solve this? Thanks in advance.

  6. i have got 30 days trail license, i just wanted to know after 30 days Veeam B& R will switch its functionality to free edtion..
    does it make much effect on my environment and backups?
    And also does free version of veeam back up support EMC data domain DD boost repository?

  7. Thanks for the video ! Am I the only one who laughed at " So if you have a small pipe" (15:42)? Please tell me that at least 1 co-worker made a funny comment or reference. If not i'll chalk it up to why HR says I'm their favorite :)
  8. Question! Is it still a recommended best practice to create an Active full backup periodically even if you are using Forward Incremental forever and your retention is less than 30 days?
  9. "Sorry Linux/Unix there are too many versions...." You could have at least implemented the options for the major distros  RED HAT, SUSE, DEBIAN,....

I have worked with Heather at my previous company, as she was giving the product review demo.  She did such a great job.  I told her that if I bought the product I will call her direct for product install and deployment.  Needless to say, I bought the product and she was terrific in helping during the setup process.  Heather knows the product inside an out.  She is great to work with and to learn from

  12. Great review!! This was probably the best overall presentation of VEEAMs configuration and features. I use V7 and Im studying for the VMCE and this was a great recap... got to lookup more presentations from Heather. :)
