I review a data recovery software for both MAC and PC called, Disk Drill. For PC its FREE, MAC there is a FREE and PRO version. I am looking at the PRO version on a MAC.   8. Looks pretty good. Most recovery software I have used in the past was not as user friendly as this one looks.
  9. That's way too expensive. I did a Ashampoo photo recovery review the other day, I got the software for nothing, but it's a lot cheaper than that and they also have an undelete program which also works well, for peanuts.

    Both for Windows though, not sure if they have a Mac version. Well worth a try though, I lost a load of things but got it back using both these programs.
