Unlike several only picture-oriented recovery tools, Disk Drill Media Recovery is capable of getting any lost data back from any external disk you can mount to your Mac: USB flash thumb drives, cameras, card-readers, external hard drives, iPods (Shuffle, Nano, Classic, Mini), mobile phones, other Macs connected in target mode, etc. Disk Drill Media Recovery features several recovery algorithms and works with any mountable disk via USB or FireWire, and even mounted disk images. If you can connect another Mac in a target mode, Disk Drill will be able to recover data from that Mac's hard drive as well. Depending on the scanning method you choose, Disk Drill will recover your lost pictures and photos, music, documents, applications, specific file formats and other data. Generally speaking, "Quick Scan" and "Search for lost partitions" are capable of recovering previously deleted data if its meta-data is still stored in the file system, or can be reconstructed. On the other hand, "Deep Scan" works on a lower level and analyzes disks as binary entities; it can get your data back based on file signatures, however, original filenames, locations and properties might be unrecoverable. Disk Drill Media Recovery supports all known file systems: HFS and HFS+ (journaled/extended), FAT16 and FAT32, NTFS, EXT3, EXT4 and actually any other file system, or even disks that were formatted or initialized and currently have no file system on them. If your data is still there and recoverable, Disk Drill will get it back for you. ** Disk Drill Media Recovery has several additional features to keep your data safe! ** Disk Drill can monitor your ATA, SATA and eSATA disks for hardware failures by polling S.M.A.R.T. status of available hard drives. Save your data by creating a Disk Image (DMG) of any failing disk or partition for further data recovery, so you no longer need the original media. Later on you can mount this Disk Image in your Mac, or using Disk Drill, and recover data from it. ** Purchasing Disk Drill Media Recovery you will also get: ** - Advanced scanning sessions management - Various flexible filtering, searching and sorting options - Live preview even before disk scanning is complete - Master password feature to prevent unauthorized usage of Disk Drill Disk Drill Media Recovery is built with 64-bit code, and available in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. ! Note: Disk Drill Media Recovery is not able to recover data from the main hard drive (system disk) of your Mac due the need of a specific level of access which cannot be provided without your admin password. ! 2nd note: Disk Drill Media Recovery cannot recover data from any iOS device like iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad. !!! Final note: Remember that there's no guarantee that anything can be recovered 100% correctly. Possible reasons are listed here: help.cleverfiles.com/recovered-items-corrupted. Keep in mind: if your lost data is overwritten by other items, it's gone for good, and there's NO WAY to recover it. Some real-life comments we got from our real-life users: "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I deleted by mistake M2T file 6 months ago. I have since uninstalled my hard drive waiting to find software that can help me. I bought Disk Drill and MIRACLE, I regained all my lost files." Christophe Esteve "I would like to thank you all again for this great piece of software. In the past I have tried various recovery software packages but Disk Drill is so simple to use, there is no great learning curve, and it works every time for me. I will continue to recommend highly your product as a must have piece of Mac software" Deda ARBEZ

  1. @thenbtshowtv I am almost positive you will have to purchase the full version to get this to work properly, however, I would suggest jumping into the Mac forum on Apple to get advice, before you spend money on the software.
  2. @markbyrn sure thing, you may want to check out the website daily, I have been doing 1 FREE Mac app review a day, today's was FreeMemory, simple utility app that does just what it says.
  3. @crazymikesapps Absolutely. Just filmed Modern Combat Domination review (I paid most of it with my remaining credit on my own iTunes cash, and used a few of the paypal cash bucks,) but I'm reviewing it for your site :) unfortunately the vid is a TAD laggy, but I'm doing voice over now that I had iMovie so it's all good. Should have it done by tomorrow, still getting used to editing on mac :)
  4. @iTouchAppReviewers yea, I have Camtasia, but have to use a little more to get use to :) Hey got some reviews coming?????
  5. @crazymikesapps Sweet. I used that too for my latest mac review on my channel, it works nice but I wish it had better quality. I'm looking into ScreenFlow :)
  6. @iTouchAppReviewers thank you, QuickTime. Works really nice, except for a delay when you begin to record. Once I got past that, very nice, very easy to use. Look for more Mac game reviews soon.
  7. Great review, were you using QuickTime to record that? Or something else?
  8. @krazy97151 congrats -.-
