This video shows you how to boot up off of your OSX disc and repair your disk If it had any errors. Yes this video is unprofessional and bad quality. I simply don't have time to do a proper video. Thanks for your patience and have an awesome day!

  9. how to backup my external hard drive in mac
  10. Hi.  This is why I get when I tried to repair , but dont have the disk. This disk needs to be repaired. Start up your computer with another disk (such as your Mac OS X installation disc), and then use Disk Utility to repair this disk.   What do I do????  Thanks a lot!!!!
  11. I don't believe my iMac came with these discs or I surely would have held onto them considering I always hold on to my boxes and such when I buy apple products. But my computer has kind of become slow over some time. I ran a disk check and the red error messages came up telling me to restart in disk utility mode or whatever. So basically it's wanting me to reformat??
  12. thanks bro it worked

  17. Have you gotta FIX for  ( Error Could not unmount disk ) in Mac Disk Utility for Repairing external Hard Drive the time mach is not backing up. Thx
  18. This was really helpful. Thank you so much. :)
  19. If you don't have the disc then the only way to fix it would be to reformat.  Which I wouldn't do unless your computers really slowed down.  I'm going to have a similar issue because I'm on one of the new Mac Book Airs with Mavericks.  So the only way for me to do it is probably to burn Mavericks or stick it on a thumb drive for this to work.  In your case try to find a disc of snow leopard or whatever operating system your on.  Has to be generic.  Or just reformat and upgrade to Mavericks.  A lot of people don't know this but with an operating system Disc you can also remove an admin password :)  Hope this helps!  carry on!
