  5. All of these tutorials are all well and good for those who are still using earlier versions of windows, but what about the others that are now on windows ten with problems. There does not seem to be anything to assist. In short the fixes for older versions will not work in windows 10.

  8. i picked up aold dvd drive from windows 95 old pc.. putted on a old windows xp work.. but i put the disc and say "insert disc" help
  9. Unfortunately, this does not work with Windows 10!
  10. So what do you do when this fix doesn't solve the issue? My DVD drive never disappeared, there is no indication that there is a driver or firmware error. The Microsoft Fix says there was an issue it fixed but still says that I need to insert a readable disc into the drive even though I have a game disc that works inserted.

  13. Whenever I put my dvd in, it keeps making a clicking noise and im worried that it is scratching the cd. It's not working either. Heelpp

  15. Hello!!! My DVD/CD drive does not showing on my Acer Chromebook. Can you help me please!!!
  16. My driver says everything is all good. I found no problems listed. All the computer does is look like its reading and then stop and do nothing. It's almost as if there is no CD in there at all. It always says "Please insert CD into disk drive." Please someone help me.

  18. your video title is misleading and incorrect, It should be titled "Computer/ Operating System is not recognizing the CD/DVD Drive"!!!! this did not hep me with my DVD drive that is only reading discs about 5% of the time. damn you!
