Factory Restore an iMac G4 , G5 , and iBooks G3 & G4

I hope you enjoy the video After the last part, the computer froze then it restarted then it went to that brand new iMac G4 video smoothly. Here are the steps: 1. Restart or Turn On Your iMac G4 or G5 Computer 2. Press Command and S at the same time when you see a black screen. 3. Root # should come up 4. When you see the Route # type in MOUNT Space - UW Space / Press The Return Key 5. Root # comes up type in RM Space /DB/.applesetupdone Press the Return Key 6. Your screen will come up with all these white words going down which is normal 7. It will shutdown, Turn ON your iMac G4 or G5 Computer 8. It will take a while to load up, then it should load a quick video starting with a apple logo. Their you go, you have just started a new computer ENJOY!!

  6. I want to get rid of the password dilogue box coming up. I have not used the ibook 4 for a while and don't remember the password. I have the original discs that came with it. would it be easier?

  16. This wont work for my eMac i restart then hold down the buttons then i still just boots into the os
  17. I don't have a mac keyboard and don't know where the command button is will it still work
  18. All it did was being you to the set up screen, my old accounts are still there, my old files are still, therefore, this is not factory reset.
