  1. @1:49:00 ghost in a shell
  2. About generations you can watch something from Adam Conover of Adam ruins everything:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HFwok9SlQQ
  3. Maybe you can compare youtube - twitch with free tv - pay-tv. I think most pleople will still do a lot on youtube, but loose a decisive share to new upcomming competitors.
  4. Subscribers are not too important. True! Views bring money and validate your hard work.
  5. The business world is full of incompetent peacocks strutting around acting like there crap don't stink. We need 0 of those! Those people suck!
  6. Fish View is not that bad idea. There is plenty of fishing fanatics willing to pay a lot of money. They get to spot good locations and day dream before traveling. Many resorts targets fishing/hunting
  7. Time to catch up on my daily snark. Love this show!
  8. Eli....to be honest...I used to enjoy your stuff..but it is getting bored ..with due respect have you seen your views lately...under £3000..think carefully also about titles of your show ...they are out of this world...we are gaining anything..give us something productive...sorry I miss the old Eli.
  9. Hi Eli, tried to sign up for silicondiscourse.com, but the PayPal method that your site uses is not allowed with PayPal in Germany. I have recurring payments running with PayPal myself so I know it works, but they changed something in the rules here. Don't know if this will effect other countries as well.
  10. @1:10:00 Joe Rogan is alright. He's gotten a lot better. I used to watch him more a couple years ago until there was like a couple months in a row where he was obviously stoned on the show and the interviews were just crap, so I quit watching.
  11. Eli and joe rogan should sit down for a chat, that would be a fucking marathon of a conversation lol
  12. There are a lot of wierd skips when talking about privacy and kink at an hour twenty minutes
  13. This one made me laugh! :)
  14. What is FishView actually for? To find places to go fishing?

It could be a useful thing for archaeologists, geologists and marine biologists maybe...? If you're going to go back and retake all the pictures every few years like Google maps does, then maybe it could be used to track water levels, errosion and other things that experts in that kind of thing are aware of?

I use Google street view quite frequently to look for bumps and dips in the landscape, dropped curbing that doesn't seem to go anywhere but that respect boundaries on old maps etc. I've often thought that it would be cool to have a "river, stream, canal and brook view", to keep track of how they change over time.
  15. do both. geek sexy news AND silicon discourse. Have a section of silicon discourse be a news section. offer free monthly memberships to 5 people who write for geek sexy news IF they supply decent content for articles.
  16. Eli, you are snarky, you have been snarky for a long time, it is funny and entertaining, and in some ways a lack of hesitation to be snarky at things you dislike increases the validity of your praise of things you do like so dont stop
  17.
