Thanks for this. I only had to put back in my SD card to get my video working, shame the video cut short about 20 seconds before the crash though, must have been a decent hit to the cam.

To be honest, I would suggest anyone buying one, just get a clone, I have bought four gopros, three 3 and one 4 and I have only had bad to worse experience, after a few minutes, your files will always become corrupted, broken playback, etc, etc NOT WORTH IT!

I googled the Perl download and then just took that download and dropped it into my "Recovery" file. That title says, "ActivePerl-5.20.2.2002-dar...195.dmg". (I hit enter and it says "command not found." Am I to open the Perl download and do something first?
