  1. pretty cool #loveTechnology I'm 11 years old I'm a smart kid
  2. Epic fail! It looked like from the package it was running Kaspersky, so I am surprised it didn't do a better job. Some of that Adware, is very old stuff, I think for even 2014, and since it couldn't remove that, I would say, stay away. You are better to download a rescue disc, or two, and you will get better results, or install a good antivirus if you can get on on your system with malwarebytes, if you go for free products it won't cost you a thing. Also the rescue stick doesn't seem to protect your system, it just cleans it, so it really is of no use, it is a ripoff, and Adware itself.
  3. THANK YOU. There is no inexpensive way to protect pc's owned by technical professions. I will re-sign with Omni Tech for my 7th year. If you are not that computer savvy, consider them. It is 200USD per year---but the sophistication of intrusive programs is expanding to track your pc habits makes Omni Tech an advantage. I think you need fix stick if you are more advanced than my self. love, maureen
  4. yes I just ask my customer do they want any thing save if they say yes I get my hard drive and save only there pic and doc but if they say no I just wipe it clean new windows
  5. when I have a lot of popups when u turn it on I go to msconfig and go to start up menus and unchecked all the option and that will solve most of your pop ups
  6. My ISP is being a pain in the ass so I can't finish the video atm(Screw you very much Mediacom. . . I actually miss Charter.). . .But, what I did see leads me to believe this is just a bootable USB that anyone can make for free(and wouldn't require an internet connection.), and anyone who works in IT already have a few (likely better.) variations of, except it has a label, and oversized box and you have to pay for it? I literally only made it to the point where you plugged it into the rig. So I may be mistaken. . .I am commenting purely out of boredom. . .
  7. Thank you - this helped me make a decision about purchasing FixMeStick.
  8. Here's an interesting question for you, I have a visual problem, I have to use adaptive software a magnifier and or screen reader. Is this fix me stick something I can use being that it runs a Lenix operating system?
  9. This means that my 69 year old mom will spend $60.00 from here retirement pension, because she doesn't want to "bother me" with trivial things like a slow computer.. But that's what parents think.. lol ... good thing i told her not to take everything for true because it's on internet...
  10. Absolute JUNK!!!!! Don't buy it. Recently purchased to remove malware......Well the MALWARE took control of the device, wrote over it's programming and turned the stick into TRASH. The device is now unusable and does absolutely NOTHING to cure any infections. Instead it works to infect other devices, and spread the mayhem. DONT BUY IT!!! ITS TRASH AND NOT WORTH A PENNY.
  11. You should not base your conclusion on the findings from one computer operation. You need at least 30 operations to make a valid scientific assessment. It also makes sense to still have effects from browser hijacking even though these Malware were removed.

The Bottom line is that Fixmestick remove Trojans, Malware and viruses but it does not sweep or clean ones browser, hardware or registry. Just like building a house, once finished, to make it a home, another crew has to come along to remove the debris and others will need to beautify the house.

It would be nice if the Fixmestick would do all of the above as an all-in-one tool but it is a useful compliment to regular registry cleaners and anti virus-software.
  12. lol fukin stupid im watchin this bs on hsn right now only people who dont no shit will waste ther cash on this. and thats most peeps=$$$$$ for this company. thers similar prob better stuff out ther n its all free lol sad
  13. Doesn't remove anything just an option to quarantine... Seen many pc's after using this not be able to boot back up, or still having bad issues....
  14. I never believe any of this junk sold on TV. Every time I see a FixMe Stick commercial, I die laughing. I repair computers, and for all the time it took for it to do yours, plus the money, I can fix it way better than that, and it would actually work in full. Probably mass produced in China to boot. (You didn't mention where it was manufactured). Randy McDaniels, TLC.
  15. thanks
  16. Useful tutorial/review, Chuck.

Note: "be a and end all", rather than "end all and be all"

It's good to 'be' for awhile, before it all ends:)
  17. I love the big box it comes in hahahahahaha
  18. thank youuuuuuuu
  19. Wow.... I have Mcafee.... and it's like I'm naked on the corner in Chicago. My DISK stays at 100%.
  20. Buying Linux like that is technically a rip-off, because it's open source software, There is only one exception for this rule: Buying a computer with Linux preinstalled!
