  7. Folks, as stated in the video, this trick only works on Sandisk Cruzer flash drives with circuit boards identical to the one in the video.

  12. Hi I have a flash sandisk cruzer I think which is a 32 gb. I cannot figure out which part is a capacitor. Can you help please?
  13. i just fixed my cruzer 2gb which was not working. maybe the u3 drivers went bad. i inserted another working 2gb cruzer and told windows to look there for the usb drivers. computer didn't like the drivers or location, but i then repeatedly inserted the bad cruzer. finally had a drive appear for a minute. quickly did a copy/paste of the data. it worked.

  15. I take it that you badly want to recover the data? Use 4 very thin wires, trace repairing wire, cut them to about 6cm each. Connect the two parts together, making sure each ends of the wires are connected to the appropriate points. Good luck. Are you able to provide pic of your usb? If soldering is not your thing, then post it to me.
