  1. Link for the file Android SDK: http://dl.google.com/android/installer_r20.0.3-windows.exe He didnt post it in the description... Dont forget to mention that you have to update first the Android SDK tools+ platform tools and if you have something installed like ''Minimal ADB and Fastboot'' on your PC or if you have ''Windows Explorer'' opened that it will interrupt the updating... So you have to uninstall that program before you update the tools. After that the updates are finnished. You have to close and open the application too to refresh it if like the Google USB driver update won't show up.

    The first command for CMD is: cd C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools

    i have a problem. when i be there when i need to write "adb shell" after enter i dont get "$" my next line is : root@android:/#

  3. Thanks for the tip. and i have tried the same....but found the SD card  may cause bad sector ..due to same..so i hve reverted to old settings...

  9. Hi - I have followed your instructions several times over but I am getting this problem every time:  
    1. phone does not prompt to install usb driver when connected.  
    2. adb devices does not list any devices attached in command prompt.  
    3. adb shell reports error: device not found in command prompt.  
    is this because the usb driver is not installed or another reason?
  10. Mate, .....I think everyone who owns this phone is curious as to why there isn't an obvious option for this. It is mind boggling. Was trying to sort it out for my old man, ...he's not the most tech savvy, so if it was not for me, he would have been stuck with lack of memory and space.

  17. After you check 'debugging' you said put the cell ph aside, then you proceed by clicking 'installer'??, I'm so sorry I could hardly understand what you said and the screen was blurry. I back up my data with Samsung Kies. Can you please tell what was it you clicked right after you put your cell ph aside after the debugging?, Thank you
