How to wipe and install a clean copy of Windows 10, step by step: 1. Backup data 2. Download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 3. Create a Windows 10 Installation .iso file then burn it to DVD or USB Key 4. Do an UPGRADE from the DVD or USB Key you just created 5. After the upgrade is complete, make sure Windows is activated by going to Start, Settings, Update & Security, Activation Make sure Windows is activated* before proceeding to the clean installation in Step 6 * You can force activation if necessary by running Admin CMD slmgr.vbs /ato 6. Boot directly to the DVD or USB Key you created 7. Remove all partitions and install Windows 10 to the empty hard drive 8. Reinstall all programs and restore data

  6. Ok, so if i burned windows 10 to a flash drive, what option do i choose at the reboot 18:51, also, wouldn't deleting all the partitions delete the flash drive that windows 10 is on, or can it not be deleted because its burned to the flash drive?
    Also at the beginning you said to back up your data, why may i ask.

    does this mean i have to buy windows 10 now, i did have the option to upgrade to windows 10 and i did, but something went wrong and i had to go back to win 8, but the problem was there as well, so i wiped my pc and started over, but now i dont have that windows icon to upgrade, does this mean im no longer able to upgrade?

  16. Thanks A ton... was skeptic about formatting my laptop after upgrading it to windows 10 when i had the option... but cause of this no product key issue didn't do a clean install till now.. but now i'm going to go ahead and do what i should've done in the first place lol..
