Free way to Recover deleted email ( undelete ) in Microsoft Outlook 2007

In this video I demonstrate how you can recover deleted emails from Microsoft Outlook 2007 for free. The basic steps are you first backup your PST file in case something goes wrong. Then you open your PST file in a hex editor and write over a certain small section of the file. This in essence "damages" the file so that you can use the program ScanPST.exe in the next step to repair the file. Then when you open the PST in outlook all of the emails deleted since the last time the file was compacted will be in the Inbox.     But I have a problem, can you help please?
    I carried out the procedure on a copy of my .pst because I've never done this before and "like you say" there should be 1000s of emails to search through - I just need to find one email I deleted around a week ago, maybe 2wks.  But when I used the pst in Outlook it only brought back random emails maybe say 30 going back around 2mth, but NOT the email I wanted to recover.
