  1. pacemaker hold a special place in my heart
  2. I am 28 year old I've had extended work done in my heart since birth. I was born with a very rare heart disease called Truncus Arteriosus. I've had 3 open heart surgeries and at least two dozen heart catheterizations in the past. For the past year or so I began having a really bad arrhythmia and was diagnosed with A-Fib it has affected my life like never before. My doctor tried two ablations on me at separate times and although successful seems like they ended up not having good results and I will soon need a pacemaker. I am very nervous about this because I will still need a separate heart surgery in a decade and I am not even sure how this will go. 😞
  3. goodluke lad I hope he survives😷😷😷😷😷
  4. jis per expariment ho rha he wo real ha
  5. its for long life or we have to remove after sometime or replace ?
  6. i'm 13 and i had to get a pacemaker at 7 months old. A few surgeries later when i was 8 i had to get it replaced and i had open heart surgery. A couple months ago i had a checkup for it and found out i probably won't need it when i turn 23 they said i barely use it. I have never felt a 'normal' life. When i played soccer i had to wear the catchers top (baseball) so i wouldn't get hit that bad in the chest. no one else did so i got really hot really fast. If anyone is reading this far then listen to this: don't let someone/something stop you from who you are and be who you want to be.
  7. I just got mine a few days ago. I was awake through the procedure, with a medium sedation. In and out of the hospital in a total of 6 hours. Sore but that was expected. I never knew I needed one. I was scheduled for a minor surgery on my foot, and during a pre surgical physical, my ekg was abnormal. went to a cardiologist, the whole bank of tests and 3 weeks later, got a pacemaker.

  11. I am getting my third pacemaker. This last one lasted 8 years. I was wondering if taking something out that has been in for 8 years poses any problem. The second one went well.
  12. Just had one installed yesterday. I developed slow heartbeat of 40 after a chemical stress test at nuclear clinic and it didn't come up after one week so I checked into emergency and told them I may be having a heart attack and they admitted me right away. After a few days of tests they advised a pacemaker. Procedure was a breeze and after a day of monitoring, discharged me with instructions. Shoulder sore but movable and tiredness and fatigue gone. I'm 71.
    Highly recommend.
Thank you Lord for answers to prayer.
