  1. this is crazy!
  2. Thank you Ray
  3. The central bank does not print money!
  4. Presenting most delicate balance between Monetarist & Keynesian ( they both fighting for a millennia over this ) thank you Ray Dalio
But the problem is inflationary way for making beautiful deleveraging only delaying the inevitable ( harsh deleveraging ) & only move the debt from private sector ( companies , individual ) to government ( this time the only choice is harsh deleveraging )
And for me 2008 is not even a Depression the biggest still yet to come & it might be bigger this time because last time all currency have something to back it ( which is called gold standard ) now most of it doesn't have any backing
  5. Thanks a lot, I've learnt a lot from a simple yet very informative video
  6. What does productivity growth mean if robots replace enough
jobs and a significant portion of citizens then have lower incomes
and cannot buy things to stimulate the economy?
  7. I still think Gold is the only real money.
  8. Wow this video is so easy to understand. Nice work.
  9. It took generations for my family to leave poverty. Why should my wealthy father pay to stupid people that borrow?
  10. Guy is living in Friedman's world. His fund mostly makes money because they can move markets. Transactions and markets only happen when things have value. There has to be value for which money is exchanged for. Purchases happen either because there is a need or you convince somebody that they have a need. The best part about bean counters is that they are the easiest to trick.
  11. Saying that printing money does not "increase" inflation when credit is shrinking is substantially dishonest.
  12. haha bitcoin
  13. What is the font that in red texts? I need it badly :D
  14. So explain why Central Banks are needed. Why does there need to be an entity that borrows money printed out of thin air to nations? Why is that better than the government printing its own money? If you borrow from a central bank, you acrue a national debt. If a government prints its own money, each bill becomes less valuable. But this happens either way, so why add to it the debt? Printing money out of thin air and selling it to us doesn't really feel like it's doing us a service when we could just as easily print money out of thin air ourselves as a state?
  15. Awesome Presentation
  16. Good stuff, learned a bunch. I don't understand one thing: I didn't see the connection between wealth redistribution and deflation. The argument of social uprising and the example of Germany in the 1930s seemed to be contradicted when the same example was used to caution against too much inflationary money printing.
  17. "Even though you only earn $100,000"
  18. I hope everyone realizes that the guy narrating the video (Ray Dalio) is worth over 16 billion dollars.
  19. 23:07 you didn't finished. why wealth distibution does not working?
