  7. @Jeff Did you download the software from Stellarinfo or somewhere else website? because a Disclaimer is clearly mentioned on their main website. It might be you just missed it. How large is your external hard drive and what option did you select to scan your HD. Just to tell you that data recovery software do take stretching hours to scan millions of sectors and blocks. It's a normal process. Let me know some information regarding your issues.
