i backed up my memory card on my pc then formated the memory card. AFter i went to content manager, i tapped restore but it said there was no backup files.
Someone please help because all my downloaded games were on the memory card and now the pc but i cant access them.
  5. Should've made it so that you can initiate a backup from the destination i.e. PC or PS3, instead of only through Content Manager, in case of a corrupted memory card. Or, not use proprietary memory to start with. Backing up to PS Plus should be opt out, not opt in
  6. I hate when they upload a video tutorial and don't fully explain the process.

Let me add a few tips:
    - It's best to have everything updated before starting. Be careful with PC/Mac if using an old OS. Some of them are no longer supported by Content Manager. In my case, I couldn't download Content Manager on my old Mac OS X 10.5, so I was forced to do this process with my PS3.

    - Don't need to worry about PS Vita OS, native applications and settings, that's saved on a separate memory inside the Vita (good thinking on Sony's part).

    - If the Memory Card you're inserting is new, the Vita will start like it normally does, or it'll asked to format it. If the Memory Card is used, it'll asked to "Link" your PSN account for use with that specific Memory Card... select "yes" to continue, and then "yes" again for the warning confirmation. After that, you'll be ready for the restore.

    - If you no longer gonna use the Memory Card you just replaced, you can format it before removing it to erase all the data inside by going to "settings" >"format" > "format memory card."

    - After doing everything and restoring all the information everything was as exactly how I left it.

EDIT: ^Except the trophies (just noticed today). When you open the trophy application, you will see the synced trophies on your PSN, but not on the PS Vita. I immediately discover that you recover them one by one by loading each game, but the problem still lies with those game you don't own anymore. As of now, I still haven't found an answer on how to sync them all back into the Vita.
