Is it simple as rooting another Android device > installing the Titanium Backup app > insert the same micro SD card with the backups > tap restore apps/ files to NEW Android phone? (Which is basically transferring and installing to the NEW phone?)

Also is it possible to make complete software backups of firmware and all the files on the Android device? Like if the phone gets bricked you can restore it using a PC program? Similar to iTunes or iFunBox for iOS?
