Loved the tutorial but talk slower, my ears aren't as fast as your brain.

Question: when you make the clone; will it also have the same computer name? What if your one a domain; is there anything I should do to prepare the "source" computer?

I use this video every time I use clonezilla thanks

+wwjoshdew can I create a clone of one computer and then restore it on an other computer that has the same specs and everything?

Would this even restore the Windows Boot Loader??? I mean, you casually mention that you could put Linux on that HD and do whatever you wanted. Yet, doesn't Clonezilla just clone the partition, not necessarily the first part of the drive (first sector containing the initial boot loader)? Just asking. Not that I'd ever wanted to do that. But curious.

My Laptop is the source drive. A 320gb with 200gb used. My target is a
1TB USB external with 600GB used. It's only one partition. Will it just
create one file on my target drive and not touch the files I have or
will it delete my files on the target drive and create a copy of the
source on it? Thanks. -
What program did you say that you used to reformat the main hard drive? Something about populinux?

You have won a follower my man. Thanks for the video

Dead easy to follow tutorial. Thanks. I used to use clonezilla all the time but fell out of touch with it when MDT came out. After watching this it all came back to me. Agree, this is the best tutorial.

I'm upgrading my new laptop right when I get it and putting a much faster SSD into it. Whats the fastest way to move windows X from the old SSD to the new one? Thanks

I received an error message saying , An error(1) occurred while executing syslinux your USB drive won't be bootable
I want to create an image based on a fresh install of windows 7 with some programs and customization done to it, but not have to worry about needing to create a new image after I upgrade my system..
