  4. @Learn Share thank you so much I have a question I have a 4TB external hard drive that I want to clone I bought another 4TB external hard to clone it to do I do the same steps to clone the new external the reason I want to clone the same so I could use the new one and computer thinks it's the old one without any flaws? If I'm using an external disk to do this but this disk already has a backup from another MacBook, creating a new image will rewrite the other data or it will do an additional file?   7. I accidentaly deleted the Mach_Kernel file, so now I'm trying to reinstall my system after a backup.

    It's taking forever to create a 500GB Image... So if I do the second option on the video, will my files be secured?

  12. Hi! Thank you for this tutorial. I'm having an issue when I try to create the new disk image it keeps popping up this: "unable to create "name of the backup.dmg." (Permission denied) My external disk is a toshiba and it says it's writable. Any suggestion? Thanks
