This is a short video tutorial of my favorite non-root data backup and restore app for Android. This app can be used to backup games, apps, contacts, and other things on your device. The app also features cloud backing, although restoring will cost you. If your device is rooted, I would recommend using Titanium Backup instead (http://adf.ly/1aYv1G). Step-by-step tutorial: 1) Download and install the Android app to your phone or tablet: http://adf.ly/1aYuvq 2) Download and install the companion program for the app on your PC or Mac. If you use the Chrome browser, download the Helium add-on: http://adf.ly/1aYv9t If you use Mozilla Firefox, another browser, or do not want to install a Chrome add-on, the desktop program is the way to go: http://adf.ly/1aYvDJ 3) Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging in your phone's setting. Developer Options are oftentimes enabled by pressing the build number in the about section seven times but this may be different for your device. 4) Connect your phone to your computer via a USB cable. 5) Launch the desktop app, then the Android app. Click OK in the Android app and you should be ready to go. Connecting might take up to two minutes. If you are not connected by this time, try repeating the process again and leave a comment if there are still issues. 6) Backup any data you want. Warning: if you upload your saves to the cloud, restoring them requires a paid version of Helium. Save them to the internal storage instead and move the files physically between devices. This might be a little confusing, so don't hesitate to ask. 7) You're done! Enjoy your backups! If this video helped you out, please leave a like. If you have any questions or tips, leave a comment.
