  5. This doesn't reset the computer, it makes a new admin account. If you continue with the setup you are then allowed to login to the existing accounts. Very misleading video!!!

  8. I think this method works for various macs. I'm using a mac air with osx 10.6 (snow leopard) and its the only one that works

  19. Greatly appreciated. This video just saved me a lot of time and headaches. It worked on the first try. I'm fixing my sister's 2012 Macbook Pro and there was an unknown locked user account taking up most of the storage space so I followed these instructions then changed admin passwords and deleted that account. Thank you very much.
  20. It does not give me the "HFS: Removed..." line after mount -uw. After turning it on, the wheel is spinning and nothing happens.
