  1. Not helpful at all. If I want to put a bigger drive into my laptop and put my target hard drive into my laptop then how will I open up Aronis without an OS on the target. My OS is on my source which is on my usb device. Not friggan helpful at all. Did I miss something?

  6. Works pretty damn well! If you ignore the minor configuration issues I had (to be expected), I would never have known the hard drives were swapped in my computer, like it was a super smooth transition. Also if anyone is curious, I plugged in the new replacement drive to the computer through an external USB-3 docking station and managed to get away with a smooth cloning process. Back your stuff up beforehand just in case though, I seem to have lost a little bit of info.

  16. This video is less informative than the software. When the software says "it will moved the files" is that what it really means?

You need to get someone that understands English to write this stuff.
  17. I've got the following situation and i could use some EXPERT help.

I've got an older 1.5 TB HDD with my entire steam folder and other games & programs on it. Now i've got myself a brand new 2TB WD black HDD and i'm looking at the easiest and fastest way to transfer everything from the old to the new disk. (Without reinstalling anything or manually enabling games again)

I've used Acronis and cloning in the past for HDD's with an OS on it and it worked without problems, now my question is can i use Acronis the same way for non system disks? I have my reservations about the fact that it makes the drive bootable while cloning (or is this only when it detects a windows MBR?)

Tried googling but didn't find a lot of answers. Help?
  18. When making my larger hdd small enough to be placed on my ssd can I use the "what to exclude" option? For example excluding my Steam games(will make the hdd small enough to be move to the ssd)
  19. "Cloning a disc containing the active operating system requires a re-boot" and "If you clone a hard disc with an operating system.. please shut down your pc..." Can somebody clarify this for me, please?
