***Read Below*** Recently, I upgraded from a small capacity SSD drive to larger SSD drive. Rather than reinstall Windows 7 and all my programs, it was much simpler to just clone the old hard drive to the new one. It's painless, and relieves a lot of headaches without having to reinstall anything. Today we will use a freeware program called Macrium Reflect Free to do this purpose. Enjoy! Note: It is worthwhile to create a recovery/rescue disk in the event your PC crashes, you can boot off from the disc to navigate to your image file and restore your PC! ------------------------------------------- *Links For the Video* Macrium Reflect Free: http://download.cnet.com/Macrium-Reflect-Free/3000-2242_4-10845728.html Wallpaper (See 2015 gallery): http://versatileninja.minus.com ------------------------------------------- **Stay Connected With Our Videos** Project Phoenix Media: http://www.ProjectPhoenixMedia.com Follow Me On Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/MoNeYINPHX Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/vstpower Become friends with us: http://www.facebook.com/GDVideos Earn free stuff on Swagbucks: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/MoNeYINPHX ----------------------------------------------------------- Versatile Related Stuff: Blog: http://www.VersatileNinja.com Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/versatileninja ----------------------------------------------------------- Tutorial request form: www.tinyurl.com/tutrequest vstPower Steam Group: http://steamcommunity.com//groups/vstPower Copyright © 2015 Project Phoenix Media - All Rights Reserved Copyright © 2016 Project Phoenix Media - All Rights Reserved Partner Your YouTube Channel with the Project Phoenix Media Network: https://projectphoenix.media/apply Issues with video content? 1. got yourself another subscriber, i did everytime you said, went from hdd to ssd, and simply took out the hdd, and right away my pc booted up from the sdd.. the speed is insane and so quiet :0
  2. Can I just copy the windows file from an HDD to and SSD? And then after it's copied do I delete it from the HDD?
  3. your betrayal is the intro song
  4. Got a question on this. I want to migrate my OS (only the OS) from my HDD to an SSD. Then I want to migrate the rest of the data to a new HDD. Can I do that?
  5. I know this may seem like an ignorant question but why can I not simply copy and paste programs from one SSD to another? Would that not work?
  6. hey if after the cloning process, does it mean that the files in your old drive are already automatically in the new drive that you newly installed? I'm planning to move my current SSD, to a newly bought SSD is this what i do too?
  7. Brother I need your help. Topic is Hp Laptop HDD Upgrade. I know you have already made videos about this. But I have some issues which were not discussed in details.
I have also seen many videos regarding this.
Laptop HP ENVY 15 3000 Custom Config with 300 GB SSD.
New SSD Samsung 850EVO Pro 1TB.
    I am trying Macrium Software.
The original SSD has 4 partitions. To my Surprise the windows partition isn't the last partition as you would expect.
I tried drag n drop the partitions one by one. The Second Partition which is the windows one, when i drop this I change its properties to exactly fit the ssd with some margin to fit the others and even leave some blank space. Now after process completes I swap the ssd and it does boot up windows but when i launch recovery it doesn't work.
I know its a lot to ask from you but I don't have anyone else to ask to.
Looking forward to your reply either by video or message
  8. soemthing every single youtube video i clicked on has missed out, the steps to setting up brand new SSD:
1 - plug it into motherboard and powersupply
2 - open computer management (via: contorl panel / system and security / administrive tools)
3 - on the left double click disk management
4 - on the new disk rigth click and add new volume and proceed with whatever options you want (if your purpose is to clone dont format the volume)
5 - i think i need to restart my pc because this didnt work yet lol (sry im terrible at this stuff xd) if anyone could finish this for me much appreciated. If i open folder and double click my new disk it says i have to format it but im downloading something at the moment so im gonna wait incase it restarts my computer.

hope this helps anyone even if it is unfinished :P

  16. Hello, thanks for the video. Unfortunately, I have an issue. I cloned my SSD to an M.2 SSD. The cloning was successful, but when I boot from it I says there is no operating system running on the disk. Any idea?
  17. if i copy the contents of my hard drive to another will it delete my data on the original drive? my hard drive is 2tb and the hard drive I am cloning my data to is also 2tb so will i still have to do the partition manager thing?
  18. Hi, I cloned my current 500gb SSD to my new 1TB SSD but my boot is still on my 500gb SSD. I noticed that when you selected your SSD it has both System Reserved (None) and NTFS Primary. I noticed my 500gb only had the NTFS primary and I only cloned that over to my 1TB while my 1TB HHD had both the System Reserved (None) and NTFS Primary. Do I have to clone that system reserved from my HHD to my new 1TB SSD? is that my issue?
  19. What was the song in the beginning intro? and great guide!
